Description : The CWU-27/P Flyer’s Coveralls (Type I, Class II) are standard issue for U.S. military aircrew personnel, designed to provide comfort, durability, and critical flame resistance during flight operations. Constructed from a lightweight, aramid blend (Nomex®) fabric, these coveralls offer inherent flame-retardant protection without sacrificing mobility or breathability. Type I, Class II indicates the garment is made for use in cooler climates and incorporates features specific to certain flight and operational requirements. The design includes a full-length front zipper, a bi-swing back for enhanced range of motion, and adjustable waist tabs for a customized fit. The CWU-27/P is equipped with multiple functional pockets: two chest, two thigh, two calf, and a left sleeve pocket with pen slots, allowing secure storage for tools, documents, or survival gear. Hook-and-loop closures at the wrists and zippered leg openings ensure a secure seal over gloves and boots. Worn by pilots, aircrew, and flightline personnel across the U.S. Air Force, Navy, and Marine Corps, the CWU-27/P remains a critical component of aviation safety gear, combining mission-ready performance with flame-resistant protection.Coveralls are also good for doing household chores like yardwork, cleaning out the garage, and working on the car. Coveralls are in Very Good condition and have been previously worn unless marked Brand New With Tags (NWT) or Brand New With Out Tags (NWOT). May or may not come with rank patches
