Description : The U.S. Army 3-Color Desert BDU Boonie Cover is a classic military field hat designed for hot, arid environments, providing effective camouflage and protection from the sun. Constructed from durable 50/50 nylon-cotton ripstop fabric, the boonie features the iconic tri-color desert camouflage pattern—tan, brown, and pale green—originally developed for use during operations in Southwest Asia. Its wide, stitched brim offers ample shade for the face, ears, and neck, while metal vent eyelets on the crown ensure breathability in high temperatures. A fabric band surrounds the crown, allowing for the attachment of additional camouflage or gear, and an adjustable chin strap secures the hat during movement or in windy conditions.
