Description : The insignia of grade worn by Petty Officers Second Class (E-5) as a cap device is identical to the one authorized for wear by female enlisted personnel on the Female Enlisted Combination Cover with the exception of the initials USN. When worn on the Garrison Cap, the device is placed following the same guidelines Chief Petty Officers use for their fouled anchor devices—it is placed so that the center of the device is two inches from the cap crease in front and one-and-a-half inches from the cap’s bottom. Cap rank devicdes are previously worn and are in Excellent to Very Good condition unless marked New With Tags (NWT) or New With Out Tags (NWOT)
