Description : Retired in 2023, the Female Officer Blue Dress Coat is a single-breasted coat with notched lapels and four gold front closure buttons. The shift toward more gender-neutral uniforms for Marines and sailors started under former Navy Secretary Ray Mabus, who said he wanted troops in the sea services to look more uniform, regardless of gender. May or may not come with collar devices. This is a great blazer on it's own to wear in a professional setting or with a t-shirt and jeans. Dress blues coats are in Very Good condition and are previously worn unless marked Brand New With Tags (NWT) or Brand New With Out Tags (NWOT)
